Each Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

For puppies up to 6 months old, this class is perfect for socializing your puppy and laying a foundation for an obedient and well-trained dog! Each week you will learn how to teach your dog simple commands such as, heel, sit, down, stay and come. Your puppy will be able to greet and play with other puppies and humans.

Cost: $15 per session or $75 for six sessions.

You may register on the day of class. Come early and bring a copy of your puppy’s shot record. Puppies must be receiving vaccines from a veterinarian (breeder or over the counter vaccines not accepted).

Please do not bring babies or toddlers to classes. Older children are permitted as long as they are under tight supervision by a parent at all times.

What to bring:

Your puppy on a four or six foot leash. Retractable leashes not permitted. Soft Treats (available for purchase at Club Canine).

Two 6 week courses to choose from:
Tuesday class begins on September 7th at 6:30 at Henry Fork River Park, Longview.
Sunday class begins on September 12th at 2 p.m. at Redwood Park, Hudson.
Cost is $99 for the six week course.

These sessions are ideal for those wanting to teach their dogs basic obedience commands such as:

HEEL, SIT, LIE DOWN, STAY AND COME
You will also enhance your dog’s social skills by attending!

Registration Information

• You must register in person at Club Canine.
• Bring your dog's vaccination record and plan to pay fees in full in order to be promised a space in the class.
• We do not accept breeder or over the counter vaccines. Bring a record from your veterinarian.
• We accept cash, Visa or Mastercard. No checks please.

*This class will prepare you for the A.K.C. Canine Good Citizen certificate. Testing will be provided at the end of this class for anyone interested in participating. For more information about the C.G.C. certificate visit www.akc.org/events/cgc/.

"Distinguished Dog" Advanced Training Program

For dog owners who have completed basic obedience training and are ready for the next level. This training program is designed to excel your dog’s performance in real life situations with real life distractions!

With class settings in community parks, nursing homes, veterinary offices, hiking trails, and other public places, you will know exactly what to do the next time you venture out with your companion.

Classes are designed to enhance your dog’s basic obedience and social skills while preparing him for the Canine Good Citizen certificate*.

Plus, network with other dog owners with common interests.

Minimum Criteria for Participation:

• Dogs must be able to consistently heel and obey the following commands from at least six feet away and with distractions: Sit, Down, Stay, and Come.
• You must be able to maintain control of your dog using a leash.
• Dogs must be spayed or neutered unless he/she is a show dog.
• Dogs cannot be aggressive towards people or other dogs.
• Dogs' vaccines must be up to date.

Submit your application to Club Canine. Once approved, you will receive an invitation to join the class. Class details will be provided upon acceptance to the class.
